Bondi  World - Bondi Seawater Pools

There are two seawater pools located at either end of Bondi Beach.  The most famous being the now adopted name of the Bondi Icebergs pool at South Bondi.  Bondi Baths would appear to be the first rock pool constructed in the metropolitan area, dating back to 1886.  The Bondi Icebergs, was the first winter swimming club established in Australia, if not the world. The Bondi Icebergs Club has become synonymous with Bondi.  And you can find the “Mermaid” pool at the North Bondi end which is used more by the younger members of the community.

There are also seawater pools at Bronte, Coogee and Clovelly beaches which are  worth going to.
