Bondi World
- Bondi Icebergs
Located at the Southern end
of Bondi Beach on Knotts Avenue. It has a
seawater pool set into the rocks of south Bondi. The Bondi Icebergs is an institution that
has been around for many years and is located above a seawater swimming pool at the south
end of Bondi Beach. The club was founded in 1929 by a group of local men as a winter
swimming club for men only. Members swim between May and September each year every Sunday
morning. The membership rules are that a member must swim with the club on three Sundays
out of four to a total of 75 swims in five years to become a full member. And since 1994
the club has welcomed women as members. The club has existed at the same site for over 65
years and is a vital part of the Bondi community.
The
Bondi Icebergs has been revamped and rebuilt recently.

It now
includes a restaurant, the Icebergs, a gym, the pool, a cafe and much
more.
