Vibes - Bondi gig guide & music
Summer is where it's at in Bondi, starting with the Bondi Pavilion
venue which has been home to quite a few major gigs e.g. Mobile
Home and Vibes
on a Summers Day.
Bondi
Pavilion is normally quite busy over the summer months with a
bar upstairs and outdoor venue for movies
under the stars, and also gigs & parties such as Beachlife,
Fuzzy
Summer Breaks, Underwater
NYE, Summer
Dreaming Festival, Peace
Beats, and Sun
Beats Xmas at Bondi Beach. Vibes on a Summers Day is unfortunately
no longer at
Bondi Pavilion anymore. The Pavilion throughout the year have
festivals such as Afro Latin, Carols by the Sea and the South

BB's Wine Bar - Live music and open every night of the
week...Bondi Beach
Electric Monkeys - Gould
Street, Bondi's favourite record store, just along from Tuchuzy, offers
a variety of music tastes, CDs, vinyl, tickets to gigs, (I think its a
real DJ hangout, so it must be serious shit).
Bondi Social - overlooking Bondi Beach, set above the shops at
south Bondi, Bondi Social is an atmosphere of sophistication and
style. A restaurant and cocktail bar, have a drink here before
moving on. Not really a music venue but worth a look in.

Beach Road Hotel - Beach Road, Bondi - this is a great place to either have a
pint, or have a boogie on the dancefloor upstairs, or have a meal in
the lounge area upstairs. Not much in the way of live band music
but definitely DJ's happening.
Hotel Bondi
- Hotel Bondi is right on Campbell Parade overlooking Bondi
Beach. It is a heritage listed hotel and was built in the 1920's
making it an important landmark building in the Bondi Beach
area. The hotel has a couple of restaurants/cafes, bars and a
nightclub. The BomBora bar and the Starfish bar feature DJ's and
live music. Also BondiFM
are based at the Bondi Hotel, so check them out.
Mocean Underground
Bar - This is a little bit of gem, a smallish venue, almost
hidden unless you know about it, an underground bar below Mocean
restaurant. Good DJ's and music...bar seems to close a little
early for my liking though...maybe it's just that I'm always have such
a good old time that time goes by. Sometimes Jazz nights
too.

Ravesis
Bar - Downstairs on corner of Hall Street & Campbell
Parade, this bar is somewhat packed most of the time on a Thursday,
Friday, Sat nights. Some music but generally background, sometimes DJ.

Bondi
FM - This is not a venue however you can listen and groove out
to the chill out sounds of BondiFM from anywhere around the
world...just like being in Bondi...kick back....awesome tunes.
